Elective courses in SSDs MAT01 to MAT05

The core courses of the scientific-disciplinary sectors MAT01 to MAT05 are divided into four subject groups, listed here. The Applied curriculum requires a choice of courses of this type, for 12 credits (in addition to the 12 for Foundations of Advanced Analysis), provided that, together with the other choices, the following constraints are met:

  • the courses making up the 60 core ECTS credits (i.e. from sectors MAT01 to MAT09) of the first year must belong to at least four different subject groups (Foundations of Advanced Analysis belongs to group 4);
  • The total number of exams for core, related and free-choice courses may not exceed 12.
