Overview
The Master’s Degree Programme in Mathematics aims to provide students with multidisciplinary skills, based on the acquisition of a solid mathematical foundation and in-depth knowledge of traditional and innovative methodologies. The programme offers a choice of three different curricula: General, Applied and Teaching, each of which consists of core courses, whose content forms the foundations on which recent research is based, and of specialised courses – chosen by the student – designed to provide advanced content and techniques in the various fields of Mathematics. The Master’s Degree in Mathematics aims to train highly qualified professionals in the various fields of Mathematics, adapting to the inclinations and specific reasoning abilities of each individual. The diversification of the programme aims to lead students to acquire individual soft skills and well-developed problem solving abilities, typical of mathematical knowledge.
